Danubius Young Scientist Award 2024

1. The “Danubius Young Scientist Award 2024”, created with the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, Science and Research (BMBWF), is now accepting nominations. The award seeks to highlight the scientific work and talent of young researchers and enhance the visibility of the scientific community in the Danube Region. The 14 winning young scientists will be each awarded the sum of 1,350 euros. The nomination must come from the institution itself, the deadline is the 3rd of May 2024 at 23:59 CEST. 2. The 19th Danube Rectors’ Conference (DRC) Summer School on Regional Cooperation titled “Losing the Momentum? The Western Balkans and the Complexity of Today's World”, is open for applications. The intensive one-week programme takes place in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, from the 16th to the 22nd of July 2024. We are looking for BA, MA, and PhD level students and scientists specializing in the issues of Central, Eastern, and South-Eastern Europe. Participants will have the opportunity to share their research findings and publish them in the scientific journal “Der Donarum” ("Danube Region"). All costs related to the participation are covered by the organizers. The application deadline is the 31st of May 2024.
