Competition for the election of the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering

Based on the Decision of the Scientific-Teaching Council of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar number: 120-73-6 / 20 from November 10, 2020, the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar announces

COMPETITION
for the election of the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar for a period of four years

I
A candidate who meets the following general and special conditions may be elected dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Džemal Bijedić University in Mostar:
The general conditions are:
1. that he is a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina;
2. that he is medically fit to perform the duties / functions of the dean;
3. that he has not been convicted of a criminal offense and an economic offense, which represent obstacles to appointment to the given jobs / functions, ie that the period of 5 (five) years has elapsed from the day of serving, executed, obsolete or forgiven sentence;
4. that there is no court decision prohibiting that person from performing the given tasks / functions
5. that there is no indictment of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia against him (Article IX.1 of the Constitution of BiH).

Special conditions are:
1. that the teacher who is elected at the University to the scientific-teaching, ie artistic-teaching profession is a full or associate professor,
2. that he is in full-time, full-time employment at the “Džemal Bijedić” University in Mostar;
3. to know (actively speak) at least one world language;
4. that he has no function in the executive bodies of a political party or organization affiliated with a political party;
5. that there is no private financial interest at the University.

The candidate for dean is obliged to submit the Program of work and development of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar for a term of four years.

Evidence:

Along with the application for the competition and CV, candidates for the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar are required to submit the following documents as proof of meeting the prescribed conditions for the election of the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, as follows:

1. certificate of citizenship, original or certified copy not older than 6 months;
2. medical certificate that he is medically fit to perform the duties / functions of the dean, the original not older than three months;
3. a certificate from the court that he has not been convicted of a criminal offense and an economic offense, which constitute obstacles to appointment to the given job / function, ie that the period of 5 (five) years has elapsed from the date of serving, executed, obsolete or pardoned sentence, original or certified copy not older than 3 months;
4. a certificate that there is no court decision prohibiting that person from performing the given tasks / functions, from the court the original not older than 3 months;
5. a statement that there is no indictment against him by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (Article IX.1 of the Constitution of BiH) in accordance with item 5 of the General Conditions, certified by the competent authority not older than 3 months, original;

6. a certified copy of the decision on election to the scientific-teaching, ie artistic-teaching title of full or associate professor at the University "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar, not older than 3 months;
7. Certificate of permanent full-time employment at the University "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar, original;
8. proof of active knowledge of at least one world language, certificate, original certificate or certified copy not older than 6 months;
9. Statement that he / she does not hold a position in the executive bodies of a political party or organization affiliated with a political party certified by a competent body not older than 3 months, original
10. Statement that there is no private financial interest at the University, certified by the competent authority, not older than 3 months, original

Applications with a biography and all necessary supporting documentation shall be submitted in person or by registered mail, within 15 days from the date of publication of the Competition in the newspaper "Dnevni Avaz" and shall be delivered to the address:

On the back of the envelope should be indicated: name and surname of the candidate, address and contact phone number.
Incomplete and untimely applications, as well as copies of the requested documentation that are not certified, will not be considered.
