Presentation of the Open Innovation Platform held (ALL4R & D project)

On Tuesday, June 11, 2019, a presentation of the Open Innovation Platform was held in front of the full hall of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Džemal Bijedić University in Mostar. The platform, developed as part of the ALL4R & D project funded by the European Commission through the ERASMUS + program, is intended to establish cooperation between potential partners for research and development, ie created as a network of researchers from universities, industry, youth and other stakeholders. ideas and their better realization.

The program began with an introductory address by the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, abroad. prof. dr. Suada Špage, who emphasized the importance of cooperation between the economy and the university and the development opportunities of both parties involved, which are provided through designed and focused research projects. Then he's out. prof. dr. Merima Šahinagić-Isović, a member of the project team on behalf of the University, presented in more detail the University, Faculty and the project "Promoting cooperation between universities and industry for research and development through cooperation and open innovation platform - All4R & D". Everyone is present, thanks to the senior assistant mr. Marko Ćećez, had the opportunity to learn more about the Open Innovation Platform as well as how to register for it. Finally, Amina Baljić, a member of the HP Investing project team, informed the audience about the company's role in the project.

Among the large audience, in addition to students and teaching staff of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and other faculties of the University "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar, there were also representatives of the economy, non-governmental sector and public sector. At the discussion that followed the presentation, prof. dr. Fuad Ćatović, Mr. Admir Smajić from the company ISO-SPAN, Mr. Affan Ćehajić, director of the Žiža portal and Mr. Admir Logo in front of REDAH. All of them emphasized the necessity of joint work of the university and the economy, but also of governmental and non-governmental organizations.

The ALL4R & D project is being implemented at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Džemal Bijedić University in Mostar - one of thirteen project partners, along with universities and companies from Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Armenia, Finland, Austria and Germany. The overall goal of this three-year project is to encourage cooperation between business and universities.
